About Me
Pat Finley
Thanks for stopping by. I am a 16 year technician in this field. I started out as an electrician in high school and continued after graduation. I spent time in the union and nonunion sectors. After an a few years, I got the opportunity to work in the commercial restaurant repair industry. I was hot side only for the first 3 years and began to get the urge for more. I looked for an opportunity to expand my field and began to repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
Awards
I recently attended the HVAC Tactical awards in Atlanta. This is an annual event leading up to the AHR Expo. I won the award for Best Social Media Content. It was truly an amazing experience, only made better that my wife was there to witness. The HVAC Tactical Awards is an opportunity to give back to those in the HVACR fields. It is always a fun time when "blue collar goes black tie".
Also, awarded CFESA's Outstanding technician at their annual conference in Nashville TN. I had no idea and was completely blown away. This was a huge accomplishment for me. I take a tremendous amount of pride in my work.
Podcast
I listen to podcasts of all sorts throughout my day. I spend a lot of time driving between calls and I use these to learn and grow. I never really found anything that covered exactly what i do. There was some that discussed refrigeration but nothing devoted to the commercial kitchen repair industry. So that is how Commercial Kitchen Chronicles came about. Truthfully I had the idea for over a year before I finally jumped on it. If you would like to find out more about it, you can find it on several podcast apps, as well as YouTube.
